Let’s Talk Mondays in the Graduate Student Lounge (GEAR 206)
CAPS will continue its successful mental health outreach program, Let’s Talk, with sessions during the fall semester in the Graduate Student Lounge (GEAR 206) on Mondays from 2pm-4pm.
The program offers brief, informal consultations with a licensed mental health clinician. Consultations are free, no appointment is necessary, and students are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. At the U of A, the most common reasons students seek CAPS services are for anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues and family issues. For more information, please visit https://health.uark.edu/mental-health/letstalk.php.
Immigration Advisors Available Through Online Chat
For international students
A convenient way to talk with advisers for International Students and Scholars is through on-line chat each work day from 8:30-9:30, noon to 1:00 and 4:30 to 5:30. You can reach the chat link from the ISS home page at https://international-students.uark.edu/.
During this time of the semester, chat is the quickest way to reach an advisor to answer specific questions. If a longer discussion is needed, then arranging an appointment through the same website is the best way to have a face to face time with an adviser.
